Dena McDowell works as a clinical dietitian in oncology and sports medicine and enjoys writing about nutrition and health related topics. She graduated with a bachelors of science in dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her master’s degree in nutrition and counseling at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her writing has appeared in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Exclusively Yours Magazine, and M Magazine.
