Donna Feldman, MS, RD
Donna Feldman earned a master of science in nutrition from Cornell University and has been a registered dietitian since 1981. She got her first nutrition-oriented job in 1975, working as the vegetarian cook for Williams College where she created the campus vegetarian dining program now common on most college campuses. She has work experience in weight management, food allergies and heart disease. One of her biggest career successes was starting her own healthy personal chef business in the late 1980s, cooking personalized, calorie-controlled, lowfat meals for clients in their homes. Her business was featured on local Denver TV and newspapers. After taking time off to raise her twin daughters, she now consults for food companies, writes on nutrition and health, and is developing a web site. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and several ADA practice groups including Nutrition Entrepreneurs, Food and Culinary Professionals and Dietitians in Business and Communications. She lives in Front Range Colorado, where the weather makes year-round physical activity enjoyable.
