Kathleen Goodwin, RD
Kathy Goodwin has been a registered dietitian for 16 years since graduating from the University of Connecticut's clinical nutrition program in 1990. She has been a nutrition department staff member and senior nutritionist for several healthcare facilities including The Johns Hopkins Health System. Kathy has also been a consultant for online diet and nutrition websites including smartplanet.com and wellcoaches.com. Kathy also does private consultations with local clients specializing in weight management, wellness, and psychological aspects of eating behavior. She is an active member of The American Dietetic Association and their Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists practice group. Kathy has spent the last two years working towards attaining a master's degree in counseling psychology. Kathy resides in San Diego, California where the wonderful weather affords many opportunities for keeping fit.
