Day 28

Today closes out my fourth week.  I put on a dress for Sunday services that I bought in the hopes that someday that I would be able to fit into it.  It was only a size 12, and I thought that if I bought a size smaller (maybe two sizes, my size 14's were a bit snug when I started) I would inspire myself to drop a few lbs and get into it.  Today I pulled it out of the back of the closet where it was hid from Danny.  I don't think he would understand me buying something and not wearing it.  Anyway, I wore it and it was actually a bit loose!  I can't believe it, I am down a size, yeah for me.  The next hurdle for me next week is a lunch with Nicky, I hope she sees the difference.

 I registered and posted to the member message boards.  I got a nice email from another member who saw my posting and she wants to be my diet buddy.  Her name was Carmen and she has lost over 25 lbs but is finding herself struggling with some issues and wants to get back on track.  Maybe I will look into that, but I have to focus on myself before I help others, I have you all to be accountable to so that keeps me focused. 

I experimented again with modified foods, you guys have to try this! I did an entire mexican feast last night for Emily and her friends.  I modified everything with modified foods and cut the calories of everything.  The girls didn't notice the difference and ate everything!  They didn't notice a difference, so, if they didn't notice, why should I?

 My calories have continued around 1600 a day, but I have eaten more and more "free foods" such as blackeyed peas.  my food diary that I have to submit each week is going to be full and most of the entries are basic and free foods.  I am really proud of that.
