My first day on the eDiets plan

Well, it's my first day on the plan. My morning started off very normal with respect to my usual eating habits. I had a chocolate protein shake on my drive to work and a banana when I got in the office. At noon I worked out for 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, where I burned about 250 calories. I then did a 15 minute ab routine. Unfortunately, since I just signed up with ediets the night before, I had not properly planned out my first lunch (which was supposed to be a Lean Cuisine meal). I had to make due with a bag of animal crackers and another banana. I definitely want to stay on track with the diet plan. It's the only way I'll be able to lose the weight.

That evening l  went to the grocery store to stock up on all the food I will need for the rest of this week.  It was very easy to follow the shopping list that went along with my week diet. I knew exactly how much to buy for the whole week. The list will also keep me honest. I'm just buying what's on the list - and that means no Oreos.

That evening I made Asian stir-fry chicken one portion for me and a little bit larger portion for my boyfriend who is also working on his diet. It was delicious. I am not much of a cook - but the recipe was so simple the meal turned out to be wonderful. My only disappointment was that the portion size was much smaller than I am used to. It took alot of will power to NOT eat more. I saved the little bit of leftovers from my boyfriends portion and I plan on eating this tomorrow for lunch since it will still be in the right calorie zone for a proper ediets lunch.

I can tell already staying between 1200 and 1300 calories a day is going to be challenging. It will take a lot of will power especially with all the snacking that goes on in the office.  But I am very dedicated to losing the lbs. And I'm not going to quit yet - especially on my first full day!
