Monday - A good day for dieting

Monday I was really on top of my diet. For breakfast I had a slim fast chocolate protein shake on my drive to work. At 10:50 am I had a chocolate protein bar which was delicious. I am finding I really need the 10 am - 11am snake before lunch to keep my energy going. At 1pm I ate an assortment of veggies, celery, carrots and broccoli with fat free ranch dressing. I had a 1/4 cup of tuna salad and a 1/4 cup serving of cottage cheese. For my afternoon snack I had four saltine crackers. When I got home that evening I planned to go on a 1 mile run - but could not stir up enough ambition to do it. Hopefully I can take an hour out of work today and workout or run. For dinner last night I was felling not so hungry and I had two slices of American Kraft cheese and a bowl of Grape Nuts cereal.

My calorie intake today was really great. And I followed my suggested menu from ediets really well. Except I split my afternoon snack to a morning snack.

Today it's 11:30. I have not had a snack yet and I am starving! I am planning to do my workout at noon - but will definitely need to eat something before going to it - or I will not have enough energy to make it through.
