Weighing in

Submitted by dietgirl on Tue, 04/18/2006 - 1:46pm.

Weigh-in progress for the my first 3 weeks:

Week 1 - lost 2 lbs
Week 2 - gained 2 lbs
Week 3 - lost 2 lbs

Well, I have been on the ediets plan for 3 weeks now. It has been great at offering education on dieting, and the customized meals that is offers are really delicious and easy to use. When I have questions I can talk to an online representative about how to maximize my diet. On my second week I gained back 2 lbs that I had lost the previous week... Ediets emailed me to encourage and gave options on how to recustomize my plan to work. Although the only reason I gained weight was because I was traveling on business - and totally went way off the track with my diet...

Monday - A good day for dieting

Submitted by dietgirl on Tue, 04/18/2006 - 1:28pm.

Monday I was really on top of my diet. For breakfast I had a slim fast chocolate protein shake on my drive to work. At 10:50 am I had a chocolate protein bar which was delicious. I am finding I really need the 10 am - 11am snake before lunch to keep my energy going. At 1pm I ate an assortment of veggies, celery, carrots and broccoli with fat free ranch dressing. I had a 1/4 cup of tuna salad and a 1/4 cup serving of cottage cheese. For my afternoon snack I had four saltine crackers. When I got home that evening I planned to go on a 1 mile run - but could not stir up enough ambition to do it. Hopefully I can take an hour out of work today and workout or run. For dinner last night I was felling not so hungry and I had two slices of American Kraft cheese and a bowl of Grape Nuts cereal.

Easter - Not so great for my diet

Submitted by dietgirl on Mon, 04/17/2006 - 12:38pm.

Easter weekend was spent with my boyfriend's family. It really was a great time. Except there was a lot of eating out, buffets... candy, you get the idea. It is frustrating that there are no restaurants that offer small 3 oz courses of meat. It is so hard for me to just stop eating and save half of my meal. So today I am just going to forget about my poor eating habits and start again. (Hmm it feels like everyday I start over again - when can I really start accomplishing my goals and seeing results?) For breakfast this morning I had a slim fast protein shake on my way to work and brought a Zone bar for my mid afternoon snack.

Losing the Fat with

It's my second year out of college, and the  9 to 5 lifestyle has not been the best thing for my weight, or figure. Sunday, I stepped onto the scale to check the damage; 15 extra lbs of fat have been added  to my body in the past two years. It's time for me to change this downward spiral before I am stuck in a life of bad habits, unhealthy dieting and potential self-loathing.

My first day on the eDiets plan

Submitted by dietgirl on Mon, 03/27/2006 - 7:29pm.

Well, it's my first day on the plan. My morning started off very normal with respect to my usual eating habits. I had a chocolate protein shake on my drive to work and a banana when I got in the office. At noon I worked out for 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, where I burned about 250 calories. I then did a 15 minute ab routine. Unfortunately, since I just signed up with ediets the night before, I had not properly planned out my first lunch (which was supposed to be a Lean Cuisine meal). I had to make due with a bag of animal crackers and another banana. I definitely want to stay on track with the diet plan. It's the only way I'll be able to lose the weight.
