eDiets Week 5 Day 1 - Can I get over the hump?
My progressive pattern of weight loss has slowed down a bit, but I am feeling and looking better. Overall, I am stronger from working out consistently and I feel like I am more in balance when I am playing softball (for example, I play better defense). My routine is doable, but I have noticed that I get a little tired and hungry sometimes throughout the day. Soda, coffee, and tea are still off my personal plan and I have stuck to it 100% in that realm.
My consistency with using the eDiets website to help me track things has been poor. According to the plan, I should weigh in and check in every week, but I haven't officially "checked in" since the first week. In general, I understand what the diet is suggesting and up to this point have not seen any reason to check in more often for more tips since I have a fairly general plan as it is. However, I have been following many of the recipe's and I have my own Excel tracking sheet of my weight and workout progress. This works great because I work in Excel alot as part of my job and keeps my diet in front of me. I will go into more detail about this another day.
To date I have been working out an average of 3.5 days per week despite travel and other considerations. My weight goal this week is 172lbs, but I feel short last week. This will be a challenge since I will be traveling for work half of the week. That translates into plenty of food and drinks and not enough time to workout. The key: Not to fall of the wagon totally!
