eDiets Week 7 Day 2 - 9 (Actually 10) Pounds Gone!

    I am down to 174 today after my workout.  My diet officially started at 183 pounds, but I was up to 184 on the first day of the plan before it had time to take affect.  Basically, I have lost 10 pounds in six and a half weeks.  All this with no gimmick weight loss pills or 5 hour marathon workouts.  My lifestyle has changed moderately, but for the better. 

   Today is all about celebrating and racapping my success so here they are:  1. I have had no soda, coffee, or tea in over 4 months, 2. I have lost 10 pounds total and have passed the half-way mark for my total weight loss plan, 3. My girlfriend is losing weight on the same plan and looking better and better every day (and she was already looking good :) , 4. my girlfriend and I (mostly her) use the eDiets recipes to make dinner most nights of the week and suddenly our cooking talent has dramatically improved (like it actually tastes good), 5. we are both more active because we feel better about ourselves, 6. we are both eating food that is just healthier overall - not just low in calories.  We are eating plenty of fresh fruit, veggies, and grilled meats now, 7. We are spending LESS money on food because we eat out less and when we eat out we eat smaller portions (sometimes we split a full size restaurant portion meal), 8.  We have this great conversation starter that everyone can relate to (ie eating).  To 167lbs I go!
