Day 17- No more excuses

I still feel like I’m a bad Sonoma Dieter.  I could follow the plan for most breakfasts and lunches, but dinners and weekends were still getting the best of me.  This morning’s email was encouraging though.  Entitled ‘No More Excuses,” it advised me to write down a list of all the excuses I use to eat a little more than I should or not exercise or eat a bad meal.  Then, I’m to go through this list excuse by excuse and write a solution for each.  Granted writing a solution doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll change that behavior, but I think this will be good for me.  Writing everything down will force me to really think about what I’m doing (and not doing).
Tonight we’re going back to our Alma Mater for our friend’s graduation.  I know already that we’re going to our favorite restaurant and I will have deliciously fattening Mexican food.  This is hard for me because we ALWAYS eat there whenever we are in town- it’s a tradition.  I will do my best to not snack on the chips/salsa and really watch my portion sizes.  Let’s see if I stick with my promise.
Breakfast:  Mac & Cheese, Dr. Pepper

Lunch: ?

Dinner:  Chips/Salsa, Queso or Enchiladas, Tortillas
