Day 24- Cheese Please!

More about me.  I really do love food, and I absolutely adore cheese.  I have some type of cheese at least once every day.  That is one food I could never give up.  So it was difficult when I read I had to limit dairy on my diet.  Let’s just say that I didn’t so much follow this part of the diet.  This anti-dairy phase of my diet also conflicted with the new commercials about how good it is for you to have 3 servings of dairy each day. 

As somebody who has never formally dieted before, it’s easy to get confused with all these advertisements about which foods are truly the healthiest for you.  In researching potential diets, there are conflicting reports: no carb, only carbs, carbs don’t count, etc., and each diet claims to be “the one.”  I admit that I have poor knowledge of nutrition as I was fortunate to eat whatever sounded good at the time without weight gain.  I still hardly look at the serving information on a box.  I’ll also admit that in trying to learn more about nutrition and other diet plans, I feel like my head is spinning.  It has been quite overwhelming.  I’m a firm believer that moderation is key and skeptical of any diet that tells you to completely cut out a food group.
