Day 77: Successful Exercise Program

Yea for me!  I managed to stick to my workout program by walking again tonight.  Let me clarify that when I say “walk” I mean super power walking.  This isn’t a stroll.  We took a different route so it wouldn’t get boring.  It is getting slightly easier each time we walk.  I have been sore this week.  My husband says it’s my body adjusting to the increased activity.  I have to admit that waking up feeling achy is very discouraging towards continuing with my goals of increased exercise.  I feel wonderful immediately after we walk a few miles but the next day I’m sore.  I am stretching before and after so I’m not sure why it is so difficult.  I won’t let it deter me though from exercising.  One big thing keeping me going is I can feel my thighs start to burn when we walk.  I visualize the fat burning away with each step.  This makes me walk a bit faster and push myself further than the previous time.
