Day 118: Broccoli I actually like

Once again, we were back at my parents house to do touch-ups on the painting.  My husband made dinner.  He taught my mom to use the Sonoma Diet gem, extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) to cook brocoli with sliced onions in a saute pan.  As somebody who does not prefer brocoli, this was actually very tasty. This is also good since the Sonoma Diet really encourages me to eat broccoli.  This green vegetable is full of good nutrients to help me lose weight.  I used to like broccoli as a child (one of the few veggies I would eat), but recently, it makes me gag.
We once again had a salad to start the meal.  I still could not convince my parents that it is better to put the salad dressing on the side.  If you don’t believe me, try this little experiment:  Pour your salad dressing into a small bowl/ramiken one night.  The first night, take that & pour it on your salad & eat it.  The next night, pour your salad dressing into the same bowl/ramiken.  Instead, dip your salad into the dressing.  I’m willing to bet that you will discover that you still have a lot of salad dressing remaining at the end of the meal.
