Day 120: Working out gets easier with time

A few days ago, I decided to really stick to my exercise program.  Our office has a free workout room that I do not take advantage of.  I decided that I will exercise after work since there are less people (lunch time is very crowded).  Plus, I can go directly home after this and shower.  I started on the treadmill.  I had every intention of doing some weights, but since there were several guys in there, I felt intimidated.  I didn’t know exactly how to work all the equipment (except the treadmill), so I just stuck with that for my first gym trip.
I spent 3 min at a brisk walk to warm up.  I then ran, yes ran, for 10 full minutes.  This is unheard of for me since I hate hate hate to run.  I cooled down for about 8 min since my heart was going so fast.  I admit that I felt bad while running but felt amazing afterwards.

Yesterday, I made it back to the downstairs gym after work.  I was hoping that each time would be slightly easier.  Lucky for me, I was right.  I ended up running a full 15 min on the treadmill.  I even ventured out and stepped on the eliptical machine for another 10 min.  I felt amazing after my workout.
