Weight Watchers - Day 2
The sun has just risen on Day 2 of my diet – and I’m actually hungry for breakfast for the first time in months. It feels kind of good – like I must have eaten appropriately last night so that I went to bed satisfied, and woke up hungry. Luckily, I took the Weight Watchers counselor’s advice and actually prepared for this diet, stocking the house with appropriate foods for the plan. I love the Quaker Instant Oatmeal packages – and the ones with less sugar are only 2 points One of those and a cup of grapes and I’m a satisfied 3 points into my day.
I’m trying to start the day off fairly light as I’m heading down to LA this afternoon to spend the weekend with an old friend at the beach. I know already that by early evening we’ll be sitting around with some good wine, cheese and crackers. This will be a real test for me – but I’m again taking the advice of the counselor and planning how I’ll handle that. I’m going to save 4 points for the two glasses of wine and another 2 points for a few crackers just to be able to nibble at something. I’ll tell you tomorrow how it went.
