Weight Watchers Day......whatever

After just downing 2 pieces of leftover pizza for lunch, I think it’s safe to say that I have officially and completely fallen off the wagon. I am not proud of this, but it’s true. In my last entry I wrote about how skipping out of the meeting may have left me this week without a much needed dose of inspiration. It’s that, long days at the office, gloomy San Francisco weather, heavy cover-all sweaters and a few much needed adult libations to mark the weekend. Yes, I have lots of excuses. But I still want and still need to do this. What has to happen for me to get serious? For starters – it’s back to the group meetings. I am going on Thursday and I’m going to sit until the very last baggy-pant wearing, sticker donning weight watcher has left the building. I am going to the grocery store on Saturday to stock up on lunches/dinners I can take with me to the office. I am going to fire up the grill this weekend and grill extra veggies and chicken breasts so that I have healthy options available for the week. And, I’m going to get up at least one morning at 6:30 and go for what used to be, before the winter rains came, a regular 3-mile urban hike. I’m going to get serious.
