DAY 27: LIQUID

I have found the elixir of life. I have cracked the code and now my reflection will appear younger than my years, my health will stay with me and I will constantly thirst no more. Ponce de Leon spent most of his looking searching for the fountain of youth and it was right under his nose. It seems so simple, but apparently even hundreds of years ago they still had not figured it out. The potion is available to all; however few choose to fully take advantage of its potential. It is water.

Scientist have long championed the positive effects water has on the body, including the minute detail that it is required to sustain life. The recommended daily amount of water to consume but not limited to is eight 8 oz glasses. Daily water intake is required to flush out impurities and to rehydrate the body. It provides better skin tone, as well as slows the facial aging process. The Zone Diet recommends that dieters follow this plan, but are not limited to the eight glasses. The more water the better. It requires that sodas and most juices be cut from daily consumption and replaced with all natural water. I feel that because I am told not drink other beverages by the Zone Diet, it tempts me to do so. I probably drink 3 to 4 sodas or juice a week.  I have found that lime or lemon add a great touch of flavor to water.  I am increased my water intake for a couple weeks to take note on any changes I perceive.
