DAY 61: Stage 3 – Living in the Zone
I have gotten to the point where I am ready for the third and final stage of the Zone Diet. This stage is the last and longest, since your new eating habits should be a way of life. At this stage, I have been cooking Zone Diet meals on a consistent basis and have a good understanding of how to plan and prepare my meals. This really has been working. I find myself preparing smaller portions as well as eating less and more often. I have found that snacking throughout the day really helps me from binging.
My exercise regiment has greatly improved. My wife and I have starting walking on a regular basis and it is really starting to show. I have lost another two pounds which is definitely a positive. It seems slow going, but it is working. A healthy diet is definitely the biggest factor, as I have learned that my metabolism has bee slowing down in the last two years. Exercise is strengthening my healthy attitude. I always feel more confident and full of energy, when you would think it would be the other way around.
I am happy with my success on the Zone Diet and plan on continuing the eating lifestyle.
