DAY 91:Morning Person?
I did something this morning that is very unlike me. I woke very early, drove to the nature preserve and commenced my running routine. I am not traditionally a morning person, which is why this is such an accomplishment for me. I went to sleep earlier than usual last night so I would not be sluggish throughout the day for lack of sleep.
I have found that the earlier you go to bed the easier it is to wake up early. It was a little difficult when I started running, I guess because of my body not used to running so quickly after waking up. One thing I can say is that I felt fit and alert all day. I felt as if I had an I.V. of monster energy drink supplying me with constant energy. Since I sit at a desk most of the day, it made my legs feel a lot stronger and my body felt invigorated.
I am thinking about doing this a couple times a week. The only thing stopping me is going to bed early each night.
