Weight Watchers Day 1 - First meeting

So I finally decided to make a concerted effort to lose weight. I think I am probably 20 pounds over weight. Given that I am a 6’2, 220 lb male this isn’t an enormous amount to be overweight.  But still, I can lose 20 pounds for sure.  So I signed up for Weight Watchers and attended my first meeting last night.  I am doing the traditional points system as opposed to what they call the “core plan”.  The points system essentially means Weight Watchers has figured out a point value for every food imaginable.  Each person is allowed a set number of points to consume per day based on their weight and size. You can eat whatever you want as long as you stay under your point total. In other words, its portion control, snacking control, and food choice control via their points system.
